When 6 colleges were changed to a 4 college system (Engineering, Energy and Biotechnology, Art & Design, Humanities & social Sciences) the College of Humanities, Social, & Natural Sciences was changed to the College of Humanities & Social Science. The College of Humanities & Social Science is reorganized into 4 departments: Business Management, Public Administration, English, and Creative Writing, 1 School of Liberal Arts. The Department of Sports Science and Department of Optometry were transferred to the College of Energy and Biotechnology.

Change of name from Department of Industrial Management to Department of Business Management, Department of Humanities and Science to School of Liberal Arts. As the 6 School system changed to a 6 College system (College of Production Information, College of Construction, College of Electrical Information, College of Applied Chemistry, College of Art & Design, College of Humanities, Social, and Natural Sciences), the School of Humanities, Social, and Natural Sciences was changed to College of Humanities, Social, and Natural Sciences.
